Call of Duty manage to transfer there fast paced gameplay in a BR mode. This hands down the best first person Battle Royale game on consoles period. Call of Duty Black Out has 100 players dropping in a map from various multiplayer and zombie maps and it just works for me. There have been people running into issues but lucky in my experience nothing but smooth sailing. You can unlock various black ops characters with challenges. The mode is a lot of fun and it went from being scorned as a cheap cash grab to being the best thing Call of Duty has done since Black Ops 2. Great job Treyarch for beating the skeptics. However the game is not perfect.

At the start of the game, each member of the team chooses from one of several custom character classes - medic, engineer, tank, and weapon specialist. Some people do like the multiplayer formula (online), and I will admit I was one of them. But CoD is just nothing new. It's boring. I can't recommend anyone to pick up this game for the multiplayer aspect, but if you love zombies this game is more than worth it. Also, even though I dislike the multiplayer portions anyway, the online in Black Ops is better than Modern Warfare 3.
First the good . . . graphics excellent, talking to my nephew on the headset while he kills people excellent, zombies are fun if not a bit too fast. Now the bad . . . you pay $60 for the privilege of realizing that unless you also pay for Playstation internet, you cannot actually do really anything. For $60 I want a ton of stand alone features. This game is really an introduction fee to get to pay the monthly fee. That is not appropriate. Had I known that stand alone was so ridiculously limited would not have purchased.

Call of Duty: Black Ops takes place between 1961 and 1968 during the Cold War, 20 years after the events of World at War. It portrays a secret history of CIA clandestine black operations carried out behind enemy lines. Missions take place in various locations around the globe such as the Ural Mountains, Kazakhstan, Cuba, Hong Kong, Laos, South Vietnam, the Arctic circle and Siberia. The single-player campaign revolves around an experimental chemical weapon codenamed "Nova-6". This weapon is bound to be used by sleeper agents in the United States, who are infused with sequences of numbers, once broadcasts are transmitted from an unknown numbers station.

The mode has squads of four trying to hunt down each other and complete objectives to be the last standing on a map shrinking as it’s consumed by a ring of fire (not going to ask what Nazi superweapon has supposedly created that). But the mode is limited to 64 players when Blackout has now been pushed to 88 and Fortnite is always at 100. And 64 players is not exactly a new prospect for the Battlefield series, which has been doing the big team thing for a while now. There also does not appear to be a solos or duos option for Firestorm, at least at launch, which is a significant departure from other BRs where that’s standard. This is in contrast to Call of Duty where Blackout plays wildly different from traditional multiplayer, in playercount, map size, vehicle use, everything.

For instance, in one map the attacking team has to take an enemy outpost in the first stage; in the second, the attacking team needs to build a bridge across a shallow gorge; in the third they need to plant a bomb on an ammo depot and make sure it explodes; and finally they need to guide a tank to the finish line. Across all these stages, the enemy team is required to stop them. For the attackers to win they need to complete each stage. For the defenders to win they simply need to stop the attackers at any point. Each stage has a timer.
Treyarch is promising that special attention will be shown the Black Ops 4 PC version. For starters, Black Ops 4 PC will launch on Battle.net exclusively, which will include all of Battle.net’s social features and anti-cheat measures. With the Vril generator and the meteorite piece, Richtofen now believes he can control the zombies, and returns to Griffin Station. Here, they attempt to activate the MPD, a machine that controls the Aether energy, which opens to reveal Samantha inside; instead of dying by Richtofen's trap, Samantha was teleported to the moon while Maxis was sent somewhere else. Samantha accidentally triggered the MPD and was trapped within the device, but this also allowed her to enter the Aether realm. Maxis, who was retrieved by Group 935 scientists, apologized to his daughter and committed suicide in front of her, prompting her to assume control of the zombies and seek vengeance on Richtofen. Richtofen fuses the golden rod and the meteorite piece, and using it to switch souls with Samantha, takes over as the new zombie controller. This causes his former allies to feel betrayed, and they ally themselves with Samantha (who now resides in Richtofen's body). Maxis is revealed to have become a sentient artificial intelligence living within the systems of Griffin Station, and he guides his daughter and the three soldiers to launch three missiles at the Earth. This severs Richtofen's link with the Aether, but the launch results in the catastrophic destruction of the Earth, while still leaving Richtofen in control of the undead.
The retailer has seen a tough year all around, and earlier this year was discussing the possibility of accepting a buyout with a competitor. So far, it doesn’t look like progress has been made on that front, but it may be doing some looking around, especially after the loss. We’ll just have to see if it bounces back when end-of-the-year numbers get revealed sometime in early 2019, and if digital sales have a further effect or not.
Call of Duty: Combined Forces was a proposed concept draft originally intended to be a sequel to Call of Duty: Finest Hour. However, due to multiple legal issues that arose between Spark Unlimited, Electronic Arts, and Activision as well as other production problems, the game's draft and scripts never came to be. The game was projected to cost $10.5 million to produce after Finest Hour was complete. Eventually Activision deemed the pitch as more of an expansion than something entirely new, causing the company to reject the proposal and end their contract with Spark Unlimited shortly after.[43]

I can safely say the only thing IMO that havent continue to down grade each release is the incredible audio(seriously some of the best in the industry), the graphics, the shooting mechanics and the servers actually having a decent tick rate for the player size I think we can all remember the horrible tick rate in BF4. I'll be dead honest here BF5 more than ever makes battlefield feel like nothing more than another call of duty game with its intense focus on infantry combat and the speed of the game with people running around at mach 10. The only difference is there are vehicles and the maps are a bit bigger. I don't ever get the feeling of only in battlefield anymore.
The Black Ops 4 Blackout map is huge placing 13 iconic locations from Black Ops history all in one place. You’ll be able to battle it out in Asylum, run through Factory and fly over to Nuketown Island potentially in the same match. Previous maps in Black Ops have been comparatively small to this giant battle royale setting, it’s unlike anything we’ve seen before in the series.
You will also be glad to discover that Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will feature grounded combat, without the wallrunning and thrust boosters of Black Ops 3. You will still be able to kneeslide and climb over high ledges to help you get around the map, but expect a much more restrained movement system with the exception of Specialists like Ruin who can occasionally use a grapple fun to cover large distances in a flash.

I'm not even gonna speak about how unfinished BF5 is with it missing multiple core gameplay modes and features. From a design perspective it feels like every single release since BF4 has been a massive reduction in everything battlefield. From 6 mans squads to 5 man squads and now 4 man squads to the extreme and I mean extreme lack of vehicles and down sized maps focused on purely infantry combat we even have a lack of weaponry and customization that previous games did far better I don't consider you giving me the ability to unlock a golden pasted shit weapon good customization. I don't ever feel the epicness of a match starting where everyone gets in vehicles and drives off to war all I get now is a 2 or 3 vehicles driving by. We don't even have a watered down version of naval warfare at all a feature that existed in both 1942 and BF2 games over 10 years old.... The UI is easily the worst UI i've seen in a modern video game and nothing even compares to the slow and anti user friendliness of it.
