I can safely say the only thing IMO that havent continue to down grade each release is the incredible audio(seriously some of the best in the industry), the graphics, the shooting mechanics and the servers actually having a decent tick rate for the player size I think we can all remember the horrible tick rate in BF4. I'll be dead honest here BF5 more than ever makes battlefield feel like nothing more than another call of duty game with its intense focus on infantry combat and the speed of the game with people running around at mach 10. The only difference is there are vehicles and the maps are a bit bigger. I don't ever get the feeling of only in battlefield anymore.
Black Ops was first officially unveiled when the website for the game went live on April 30, 2010 prior to the release of its debut teaser trailer on GameTrailers TV Episode 310. In early April 2010, an unmarked envelope was sent to various gaming news publications as well as high-profile Call of Duty fans via mail. It contained a USB flash drive with sound and text files. These files were codes to be decrypted, only to find a mysterious teaser site for an unknown game. Other codes were updated periodically.
Battlefield is a series of first-person shooter video games that started out on Microsoft Windows and OS X with Battlefield 1942, which was released in 2002. The series is developed by Swedish company EA DICE and is published by American company Electronic Arts. The series features a particular focus on large maps, teamwork and vehicle warfare. The PC games in the series are mainly focused on online multiplayer. The Battlefield series has been played by more than 50 million players worldwide as of 2012, across 11 games and 12 expansion packs released since its inception in 2002.
This is what people really want to know about so here's my take... It feels like how BF1 should have been at launch if it were a WW2 game. That's not to say there aren't kinks, but the point is DICE seems to have taken a lot from what they've learned from BF1 and applied it immediately at launch to BFV. Here's some things that stuck out to me (in no good or bad order)
Weapon Progression. It's small and this is a detractor for me. Where games like BF3 and BF4 had a wide variety of grips, sights, barrels, attachments etc that affected the overall potency of a weapon, in BFV, you can change the scope on a gun then the rest is in the progression system which isn't mix and match. Some follow very linear build patterns where if you choose one progression for a gun, you have to take the next one in the chain. Granted, this helps make it so certain weapon progression combinations don't make you God, but it detracts from what I really liked about BF3 and BF4 weapon customizations. Can I live with this system? Yeah. Do I want a little more variety? Absolutely.
Treyarch is promising that special attention will be shown the Black Ops 4 PC version. For starters, Black Ops 4 PC will launch on Battle.net exclusively, which will include all of Battle.net’s social features and anti-cheat measures. Among the many features promised for the PC build are: scalability options, uncapped frame rate (but not for Blackout at launch), dedicated servers, and support for 4K, HDR, and ultra widescreen monitors.
Warfare is no longer limited to the trenches. Fights take place underwater, in outer space and even on jagged rock faces. Diverse missions and battlefields have you rappelling down buildings, floating in zero gravity and taking aim inside a helicopter. The diversity of gameplay keeps the action epic and redefines what it means to be a soldier in the field.

Black Ops 4 has arrived and has everyone buzzing about Blackout, its new battle royale mode, which is one of the best in the (admittedly rather small) genre, if not the best now depending on who you ask. If this was just a standard Call of Duty release year I don’t think Battlefield V would be in quite so much trouble, but the fact that Black Ops is a hit, it just seems like BFV has a long, uphill climb ahead of it.

World War 2 games have been extremely overdone, but if you want to compare this to Battlefield 1, it's an absolute joke. This is in no wayWorld War 2 games have been extremely overdone, but if you want to compare this to Battlefield 1, it's an absolute joke. This is in no way accurate to the actual WW 2, almost as inaccurate as Cod WW2, and shoves political agenda down your throat. A rather bad and forgettable installment into the Battlefield franchise.… Expand

The NPD Group named Call of Duty the eighth-best-selling computer game of 2003. It maintained this position on NPD's computer game sales rankings for the following year. In the United States alone, Call of Duty sold 790,000 copies and earned $29.6 million by August 2006. At the time, this led Edge to declare it the country's 13th-best-selling computer game released since January 2000. The game also received a "Silver" sales award from the Entertainment and Leisure Software Publishers Association (ELSPA), indicating sales of at least 100,000 copies in the United Kingdom. Call of Duty ultimately sold 4.5 million copies worldwide by 2013.
Suffice to say, Call of Duty: WWII feels like the better value to me. It came with fewer MP maps, but it had three War Mode Operations and a single-player campaign. And although the game had some rocky beginnings, it was vastly improved by the time Black Ops 4 released. It's almost a shame that a game as solid as WWII only had one real year of support. I would love to see more MP maps and Operations released into 2019.
Similarly to Modern Warfare 2's marketing, the first full-length trailer of Black Ops was aired after the 3rd quarter on ESPN during the NBA Eastern Conference Finals on May 18, 2010. During E3 2010, studio head Mark Lamia opened the Microsoft conference by playing Black Ops on stage. It was also announced that the timed Xbox 360 exclusivity for additional content of Call of Duty titles, which began with Modern Warfare 2, extends until 2012. A remixed version of the ESPN trailer with Eminem's "Won't Back Down" was released on June 14, prior to the E3 Activision conference for which he also performed. A multiplayer teaser trailer was released on August 9, 2010 revealing killstreaks, weapons, and other in-game multiplayer features. A full multiplayer reveal took place on September 1, 2010, and revealed many multiplayer features from the game.
Vehicles. I haven't personally flown or driven anything yet other than the little tank-bike to get from point to point, but tanks feel remarkably less threatening than BF1. In a way, I find this to be a good thing as a tank sitting on a point with 3-4 players with anti-tank weapons can make short work of it, but perhaps they could get a little armor boost (imho). Airplanes are airplanes. If they drop bombs on you, you're SOL. I can't attest to air combat, but when I hear planes in the air, I haven't had too much experience getting erased by them when we have friendly planes in the sky.
Some time in 1963, the United States government manages to grab hold of several of Group 935's inventions, keeping them hidden in the Pentagon. Due to the presence of the undead-raising Element 115, zombies breach the Pentagon. John F. Kennedy, Richard Nixon, Robert McNamara, and Fidel Castro are trapped within the Pentagon, forced to fight their way out. Meanwhile, Richtofen's crew arrive at a Soviet Cosmodrome site, where Richtofen intends to travel to Group 935's moon base, Griffin Station. The crew is contacted by Gersh, a member of the Ascension Group who requests to be freed from Samantha's grip. After freeing Gersh, the four of them are teleported further in time, and arrive at a Siberian lighthouse sometime in 2011, once used by Richtofen as a secret lab. However, they are trapped within a locked room, and forced to rely on four movie actors: Sarah Michelle Gellar, Danny Trejo, Robert Englund, and Michael Rooker, who are filming a zombie movie on-site along with director George A. Romero, who had been infected as well. Richtofen requests the four celebrities to find a golden rod, which is a Vril generator device, which he then uses to fix the teleporter. He transports himself and the other three soldiers back to Shangri-La, leaving the celebrities behind to continue fighting Romero and the horde. At Shangri-La, the group discovers two explorers, Gary and Brock, who died trapped within a time loop while trying to discover the secrets of the mythical Agartha realm. The group saves the explorers' lives by traveling back and forth in time, altering the environments of the temple in the process. They discover an altar within the temple with Richtofen's name written on it, as well as a piece of a meteorite containing Element 115. However, the explorers remain stuck in the never-ending loop.

Call of Duty®: WWII creates the definitive World War II next generation experience across three different game modes: Campaign, Multiplayer, and Co-Operative. Featuring stunning visuals, the Campaign transports players to the European theater as they engage in an all-new Call of Duty® story set in iconic World War II battles. Multiplayer marks a return to original, boots-on-the ground Call of Duty gameplay. Authentic weapons and traditional run-and-gun action immerse you in a vast array of World War II–themed locations. The Co-Operative mode unleashes a new and original story in a standalone game experience full of unexpected, adrenaline-pumping moments.
Operations is a new mode in this game that has the attackers taking different sections and lends itself well to the WW1 setting. Oftentimes you'll have games where a lot of attackers are charging a position and you have a lot of trench fighting and both up close and distance fighting depending on how well you decide to use cover and concealment. If your not into large scale battles then you also have the option to play team death match or a new game mode called war pigeons. This is a game mode that uses the towns in the maps to offer an up close to medium distance battle over a single war pigeon. Kind of like capture the flag if you had to protect the flag for a certain amount of time instead of returning it to you base.
