Excellent! Our young dog had messed on our new landing and bedroom wool carpets - causing a lot of mess ?. Artur came round, discussed what could be done, gave us a quote and came around on a Saturday to clean the carpets. He is friendly, polite, knows all about wool carpets and most importantly- managed to get all of the bad stains out. Good as new again! Highly recommend. Thank you Artur !
*Based on studies conducted by independent laboratories of Chem-Dry's HCE (Hot Carbonating Extraction), P.U.R.T. (Pet Urine Removal Treatment), Granite Countertop Renewal, and Tile, Stone & Grout cleaning processes. Allergens tested were dog and cat dander and dust mite allergen. Pet odor results based on testing with the most common odor sources found in dog and cat urine. Pet urine bacteria results based on Chem-Dry's HCE cleaning process and a sanitizer, combined with P.U.R.T. All bacteria results include use of sanitizer. Figures are an average across multiple tests.
You wouldn’t send your car, a substantial investment, to a mechanic you haven’t fully vetted. Nor would you bring in someone to work on your refrigerator who wasn’t fully qualified. You would want an expert technician to work on each of these, someone who knows the best way to keep these possessions in prime condition. And just like your car or your refrigerator, you shouldn’t have your rugs taken care of by just anyone.
We met with Kurt from Janify Carpet Cleaning. He gave us realistic expectations of what could come up but everything came up better than expected. We were so thrilled not to have to replace our carpets. We've also scheduled a tile cleaning for our kitchen. We are happy to write this review and we will certainly recommend Janify Carpet Cleaning to our friends.
Carpet cleaning costs vary depending on the type of cleaning, such as steam cleaning, and whether there are any stains that require special treatment. The main cost factors are the square footage of the carpet and the material it’s made from. The national average carpet cleaning price ranges from $100 to $130 for a typical suburban home, but steam cleaning prices start at an average of $120. In general, professional carpet cleaning ranges from an average of 20 cents to 50 cents per square foot, depending on where you live. Many companies have a minimum fee or room requirement — such as two rooms for an average of $40 each — and will charge more to clean carpeted stairs or a second floor. Finally, the carpet fiber type, density and pile will also affect the cost of cleaning; man-made fibers are stain-resistant and easier to clean, while wool carpeting is sensitive to water and requires more care.
Steam cleaning is an increasingly popular method of carpet cleaning that uses hot water and a detergent solution. The carpet cleaning machine sprays the solution onto your carpet, then sprays hot water on top to activate it. The machine then sucks up the majority of the water, extracting grime and pollutants from the carpet fibers. Steam cleaning is generally considered a safe way to clean carpets because it doesn’t use chemicals that are unhealthy for people or risky for the carpet fibers. Professional carpet cleaners use machines that are more powerful than home cleaners, so they can suck up more dirt and leave the floors dryer. Because steam cleaning penetrates the surface of the carpet, it removes far more dirt, pet hair, dust mites and other debris than vacuuming does. Steam cleaning is also commonly used for cleaning furniture and mattresses, so steam cleaning companies may offer these services bundled with carpet cleaning services.
