This game is a good shooter for multiple reasons. One reason is that it is pretty universal in terms of guns for the support, recon, medic, and assault. While it is not quite realistic to the time period based on the guns you use, it is not a ww1 simulator, its battlefield. It brought new game modes such as: Operations where you can play as defense which is defending the flags against the attackers who are trying to capture them. War Pigeons is where you get a pigeon, write a note (sort of like capturing a flag) and setting it free to gain a point out of three. And Fog of War which is Hardcore Team death match and normal team death match. The vehicles are improved, tour bullets can do damage to the planes (not much) and the dogfights seem better and more balanced. They added motorcycles with the seat on the side like in the movies. The artillary truck which has an AA gun on top of it and a Vickers Mk1 (the normal mounted machine gun in that game) and a new thing called Behemoths. If the enemy team is loosing in operations they will receive a behemoth on most maps you will get an Airship which is a blimp outfitted with powerful explosive round machine guns, and the pilot can drop bombs on top of it there are mounted machine guns (vickers mk1). On other maps where there is water you will receive a Dreadnought, this is a Cruiser with heavy hitting artillary and AA guns. The last behemoth is an Armourd train. This has the same guns as the Dreadnought but with added machine guns (for infantry). This is a fun game in all, but it is for the person who likes fast paced battlefield games, such as bf4 and bf3. So if you liked those games and hardline I would suggest getting this one.
However, in a recent interview with GamerHubTV, Treyarch co-head Dan Bunting suggested that Black ops 4 mods were still a possibility. “Many of our developers we hired directly from the mod community because they built a mod – they got noticed. In Black Ops 3 we released mod tools for the first time in the franchise in many, many years. We are big believers and supporters in the mod community, but we’re not quite ready to start talking about that yet.” It’s not much to go on, but it sounds like the decision is not yet final.
Official Nintendo Magazine awarded the Wii version 90% and said "Black Ops on Wii is a fantastic shooter packed with all the features of its HD brothers, with the only exception being split-screen multiplayer."[138] Martin Gaston at VideoGamer.com gave the Wii version 6 out of 10, complaining of Treyarch's reworking of in-game sequences as movies, poor AI, and gameplay problems from lower-resolution graphics.[117]
Onslaught offers a colossal amount of new content and carnage, including: four unique multiplayer maps, an all-new dual purpose assault rifle and sniper rifle. This is the first installment in Extinction’s four-part episodic narrative. Depending on tactical needs, players can choose arsenal options with the Maverick, a deadly new, dual-purpose Assault Rifle and Sniper Rifle.
Within 24 hours of its release, Black Ops had sold a combined total of 5.6 million units in the U.S. and UK market, surpassing that of Modern Warfare 2 and establishing a new record for largest entertainment launch.[140] Compared to the much anticipated opening of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1, the game earned more than twice as much as the film, earning $360 million.[141] Only five days after its release, sales from the game worldwide reached US$650 million, surpassing the previous record achieved by Modern Warfare 2 which earned $550 million in five days.[142] By November 22, the game remained the bestselling title in the United Kingdom, despite sales dropping by 85%.[143] Some estimates had placed sales of the game as reaching 18 million units sold, earning a revenue of $818 million. This would fall about 2 million copies and $182 million short of Modern Warfare 2.[144] By December 22, worldwide revenue of Black Ops exceeded $1 billion.[145][146] Sales remained strong months after the game's release, remaining at the top-seller list in February 2011.[147] On March 3, 2011 the news magazine The Hollywood Reporter also reported on the best selling video games ever. It announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops was the best-selling game ever in the United States of America.[148] Black Ops was the best-selling game of all time in the UK until Grand Theft Auto V overtook it in November 2014.[149] By November 2013, the game had sold 26.2 million copies.[150]

Maps, they better than Call of Duty World War 2 but that’s a low bar. My main issue with the maps is there is a heavy reliance on the classic maps of Call of Duty black ops 1&2. There good maps but they could also try to make better maps or make there own classics. Even at the time of this review they released two new free maps Firing Range nighttime and Nuketown Russian edition. Of course the new maps are borders between okay and bad so the reliance of classic maps is a necessary evil of sorts. Still relying on past games can only get you so far.
Excellent deal & condition. One of the best COD games! A truly amazing game! Zombies is on another level of awesomeness!! If you want to go back to the roots from Black Ops 2 or 3 then you want Black Ops 1. I played this game with my son many times and you wouldn't believe how much you can bond with your kid just by playing video games with them. Let them teach you. My son also met my now fiance on Black Ops 2!!! Results might not be typical but it never hurts to just HAVE FUN either!!!!

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is the sixth installment of the main series. It was developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision.[13][14] Activision Blizzard announced Modern Warfare 2 on February 11, 2009.[15][16] The game was released worldwide on November 10, 2009, for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Windows.[13] A Nintendo DS iteration of the game, titled Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Mobilized, was released alongside the game and the Wii port of Call of Duty : Modern Warfare.[17][18] Modern Warfare 2 is the direct sequel to Call of Duty 4 and continues the same storyline, taking place five years after the first game and featuring several returning characters including Captain Price and "Soap" MacTavish.[19]

DEPARTED, MEXICO: Set in a rural Mexican town amidst the Dia de los Muertos (the Day of the Dead) celebration, this medium-sized map features a classic three-lane design. PHAROAH, EGYPT: The abandoned archeological site of an ancient Egyptian palace, this complex multi-level map includes flesh-eating scarabs. MUTINY, CARIBBEAN: secretive cove on a remote Caribbean island, harbors an eerie moored pirate ship hideout. FAVELA, BRAZIL: Players traverse from one building to the other, using ramshackle scaffolding to create multiple pathways between structures.

Edit: Apparently people misinterpret the way I mentioned the patches being slow. I admit that I should've worded it a bit clearer to avoid this confusion but I'll try to make sense of it now. I'm fine with content and balance changes coming biweekly or even monthly, it's the fact that they group all the fixes into these patches as well that is a terrible decision in my opinion. A much better system would be to split fixes from these larger patches entirely, and make these fixes come at a greater pace. The amount of bugs and blatant oversights that could be fixed in a short amount of time are numerous in this game and it would do the game an immense amount of good to fix these issues sooner (I'm talking about stuff like barely getting any currency at 50 or changing assignments whilst not having to quit etc.).
Black Ops was first officially unveiled when the website for the game went live on April 30, 2010[2] prior to the release of its debut teaser trailer on GameTrailers TV Episode 310.[68] In early April 2010, an unmarked envelope was sent to various gaming news publications as well as high-profile Call of Duty fans via mail. It contained a USB flash drive with sound and text files. These files were codes to be decrypted, only to find a mysterious teaser site for an unknown game. Other codes were updated periodically.

Lore, while there is no campaign there is lore of the black ops series. With Specialist HQ a mode where you can test at all the new specialist and even see their own video. At first glance it looks Tom Clancy's Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4. But there is a hidden story that ties to the events of Black Ops 1&2. Call of Duty has a lot of Lore fans and this is a welcome addition that ties in the Black Ops universe with the Multiplayer and Blackout. Better than Blacks Ops 3 train go boom campaign.

An independent, covert, and ultra-elite Special Forces unit, GHOSTS operates outside of the normal military chain of command. Formed from the remnants of Tier one operatives, who were nearly wiped out during Operation Sand Viper in the Middle East, in 2005. The fifteen survivors, including Captain Gabriel Rorke and Lt. Elias Walker, were formed into a new unit known as “The Ghosts.”

I don't have a lot of play-time in SP but I can tell you I will be playing more of it. As I mentioned, a great deal of the cosmetics and melee weapons in this game are unlocked by completing challenges and SP contains a few that I want. I'm currently working on getting Solveig's Knife from the Nordlys mission to acquire it and I'm excited to add it to my MP loadout. Perhaps other players can speak more to SP than I can, but from the Nordlys mission alone, if the other missions are similar, color me interested!

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is the fourth installment of the main series, and was developed by Infinity Ward. It is the first game in the series not to be set during World War II, but set in the modern day. The game was released for Microsoft Windows, Nintendo DS, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 on November 7, 2007. Download and retail versions for Mac OS X were released by Aspyr in September 2008. As of May 2009, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare has sold over 13 million copies.[8]
Same CoD Same problems, This is fundamentally still a Call of Duty game and as a result we get the same problems that have plagued the series for years. Spawn points they are as inconsistent as ever. Drop Shotting back and still annoying as ever and balancing can never get right they either nerf something to hard or buff it and even a month post launch its not fixed and will probably never be fixed as it is just a part of the Call of Duty engine so unless they get rid of it which they won’t there not going away it a free criticism of the franchise.
Cuba has condemned the release of the game as it has special forces trying but failing to kill a young Fidel Castro, killing instead a body-double.[151][152] The Cuba-based pro-Fidel Castro website Cubadebate said the game "encourages sociopathic attitudes of American children and adolescents, the main consumers of these virtual games".[151][153][154]

Burns voices and provides performance capture for Frank Woods[60] and Ice Cube voices Joseph Bowman, who is also the multiplayer announcer for the SOG faction.[61][62] Gene Farber voices Grigori Weaver, Emmanuelle Chriqui plays a live-action character called Numbers,[63][64] Eamon Hunt voices Nikita Dragovich, Andrew Divoff voices Lev Kravchenko and Robert Picardo voices Secretary Robert McNamara. Players can play alone or with friends against AI opponents in "Combat Training" with a separate progression system.[24] Online split-screen is re-introduced on Xbox 360 and PS3. The guest account can rank up but is reset after each sign out. Only on Xbox 360, a second Gold Xbox Live account can be used to keep the second player's progression.[25] Aside from the Combat Training mode, Xbox users can also have up to four players in split-screen mode play against AI opponents even without having an Xbox Live account. This is done by configuring the Local Split Screen settings and setting the number of enemies to a value greater than zero.[26]
Call of Duty®: Black Ops 4 Multiplayer raises the bar, delivering the most thrilling experience yet with a focus on tactical, grounded gameplay and player choice. The game offers a new level of online action across a variety of new weaponry, maps and modes. For the first time, Multiplayer serves as the center of the game's narrative as players explore each Specialist's role and unique playstyles. With the return of the Pick 10 Create-a-Class system and a new Gear category, gameplay becomes more customizable than ever, giving players choice on how to equip their Specialist. Combined with the ability to unlock devastating Scorestreaks, players will have the opportunity to be powerful on their own or unstoppable as a team.
Call of Duty is a first-person shooter video game franchise. The series began on Microsoft Windows, and expanded to consoles and handhelds. Several spin-off games have been released. The earlier games in the series are set primarily in World War II, but later games have typically been set in modern times or in futuristic settings. The most recent game, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, was released on October 12, 2018.

Battlefield 2142 was released in 2006, taking place during a global ice age in the 22nd century. While most of it is graphically similar to Battlefield 2, it introduced a variety of equip-able items to unlock and battles between two giant "Titan" airships. The Northern Strike expansion pack was later released, adding new maps, vehicles, and a new game mode. Its use of in-game advertising was controversial among players and not well received.[36]
The Allies retaliate in DLC Pack 3 for Call of Duty®: WWII – United Front. Experience the dramatic drive toward Berlin across three new Multiplayer maps: Stalingrad, Market Garden, and Monte Cassino. Armor up and push across North Africa in a new objective-based War Mode mission: Operation Supercharge. Plus, join new heroes in a unique Nazi Zombies experience.
Call of Duty: Combined Forces was a proposed concept draft originally intended to be a sequel to Call of Duty: Finest Hour. However, due to multiple legal issues that arose between Spark Unlimited, Electronic Arts, and Activision as well as other production problems, the game's draft and scripts never came to be. The game was projected to cost $10.5 million to produce after Finest Hour was complete. Eventually Activision deemed the pitch as more of an expansion than something entirely new, causing the company to reject the proposal and end their contract with Spark Unlimited shortly after.[43]
Mods have always been an important part of the PC community for Call of Duty games, so the news that Black Ops 4 would be launching on Blizzard’s Battle.Net platform caused a great deal of concern about the future of Black Ops 4 modding. Battle.Net is known for being a much less open platform than Steam, so many assumed modding would be off the table.

Archive footage of President Kennedy prior to his assassination on November 22, 1963 is shown, revealing Mason was among onlookers who watched Kennedy disembark from Air Force One at Love Field. His presence, and Dragovich's taunt before his death, suggest that Mason may have carried out his initial programming. A hidden message that can be accessed in the game's main menu reveals that Woods survived the confrontation with Kravchenko and is currently incarcerated in the Hanoi Hilton.

Next, the class balance. This ones gonna be controversial so bear with me. In its current state much of the class balance in Battlefield V is broken. I know some of it is going to be fixed but there are some issues that will remain. We all know that the medic class is shit in its current state. It manages to fall short in pretty much every category that isn’t hip fire. While this class is getting a buff I still feel that a rifle of some sort, such as the G43 or at least the M1 carbine would greatly benefit the class. My biggest concern for this game’s class balance is the assault class which, in its current state, can dominate both close range, medium range, and long range engagements. The TTK for assault weapons seem just a tad quick, but that could very well just be me.
Firstly, the maps. While it definately had some stinkers, Battlefield 1 had a fair number of great maps. Even at launch the maps never felt to repetitive. This only improved over the lifespan of the game as entire sets of maps, all themed after a front from ww1, were added. We even got a few maps themed after the Russian revolution which was a nice addition. Personally, over Somme was my favorite. Now let’s look at Battlefield V. Battlefield V launched with a comparable number of maps but their actual quality are debatable. I know this was the case for a few in BF1 but it is moreso an issue in BFV. I think it is safe to assume that a fair number of people in the Battlefield community dislike fjell 625, Narvik, and Hamada. That’s 3 out of the 8 maps that aren’t well suited to the gameplay that most people will be utilizing.
Weapon Progression. It's small and this is a detractor for me. Where games like BF3 and BF4 had a wide variety of grips, sights, barrels, attachments etc that affected the overall potency of a weapon, in BFV, you can change the scope on a gun then the rest is in the progression system which isn't mix and match. Some follow very linear build patterns where if you choose one progression for a gun, you have to take the next one in the chain. Granted, this helps make it so certain weapon progression combinations don't make you God, but it detracts from what I really liked about BF3 and BF4 weapon customizations. Can I live with this system? Yeah. Do I want a little more variety? Absolutely.

In May 2007 ABC News, and later the Daily Telegraph, reported that United States president George W. Bush had authorized the CIA to undertake "black operations" in Iran in order to promote regime change as well as to sabotage Iran's nuclear program.[9][10] ABC News was subsequently criticized for reporting the secret operation, with 2008 presidential candidate Mitt Romney saying he was "shocked to see the ABC News report regarding covert action in Iran," but ABC said the CIA and the Bush Administration knew of their plans to publish the information and raised no objections.[11]
