Secondarily, those complaining about it taking a long time for weapons to kill somebody obviously don't know what they are doing. I feel they are complaining primarily because of the MP trench gun which is the default gun on the assault class. This gun is intended to be used by getting very close to somebody and spraying them with it. It is not an accurate weapon nor was it back in WW1. Use corners and cover in order to move close on opponents and you shouldn't have an issue with the guns if you use them to their strengths. Either that or they are trying to take out enemies at a distance using iron sights and are too use to their high tech red dot sights. There are optical gun classes that allow having a more conventional sight picture if that's your style.

Sprinting While Crouched. I friggin' love this feature. You can now keep your head low and your noise making just above crouch walking and sprint. This is super cool. The animation team also did a good work (at least for Support) on the position of your gun to let you know what stance you're in. It helps you cover ground while keeping a low profile and, in some scenarios, this massively gives you an edge on sneaking around points. You can only sprint in forward movements (which makes sense) at which point crouching backwards makes you pretty slow (which can be a danger if you get spotted). Well done on this one, DICE!
Treyarch is promising that special attention will be shown the Black Ops 4 PC version. For starters, Black Ops 4 PC will launch on Battle.net exclusively, which will include all of Battle.net’s social features and anti-cheat measures. Among the many features promised for the PC build are: scalability options, uncapped frame rate (but not for Blackout at launch), dedicated servers, and support for 4K, HDR, and ultra widescreen monitors.

Black Ops retains the experience points and unlockable reward system that has been kept since Call of Duty 4. The game's multiplayer focuses on socialization and customization.[7] "Create-a-Class 2.0" allows enhanced personalization with appearance items as well as upgradable perks;[19] weapons are extensively customizable with writing, emblems, attachments and camouflage painting. Even reticles can be modified. There are more than one style for an attachment, which allows for a lot more personalized weaponry; for example, the player can choose between a red dot sight or a reflex sight, both of which share many of the same traits, although the red dot fills up less of the screen (something desired by many players). Character models depend on the first tier perk instead of the weapon's type. Furthermore, face paints can be unlocked.[21] New custom killstreak rewards include explosive R/C cars, guided missiles and controllable attack helicopters.[22]
To my knowledge, neither of these modes are available yet, though I can absolutely see how both could do well with the current system. I'm glad DICE is focusing on balancing the current MP experience and adding new modes over time. I know several of you are annoyed the game isn't "fully" available yet, but the DLC will be FREE, the upcoming new modes will be FREE, and many of the upcoming cosmetics will be EARNABLE as more of them are released.

Blackout will also have a huge selection of iconic weapons for you to play with. The American campaign begins with Private Martin, a newly enlisted member of the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, completing basic training at Camp Toccoa in Georgia, United States, on August 10, 1942. Afterwards, the action shifts to June 6, 1944, with Martin forced to undertake a solo mission to establish a landing zone for soldiers participating in Operation Overlord. Under heavy fire, the paratroopers are scattered, leaving Martin in a mixed unit formed from various companies. The mission closes with Martin and his allies seizing a nearby town from German forces. In the second mission, Martin and his unit are sent to drive out the remaining Germans from Sainte-Mère-Église and disable several Flakpanzers (anti-aircraft tanks) as the events of June 6 begin (D-Day). A paratrooper is seen hanging from the town church. The third mission occurs later that morning, with U.S. forces fending off a German counterattack. The fourth mission has Martin, Pvt. Elder and Sgt. Moody driving from Sainte-Mère-Église to Sainte-Marie-du-Mont along highway N13 to deliver an important message, while fending off German assaults. The fifth mission, the Brécourt Manor Assault, occurs on the evening of June 6, with Martin's unit destroying German artillery positions attacking the landing force at Utah Beach. After the mission, Martin learns that his unit has been assigned to several secret missions. The first occurs in the sixth mission, with Martin participating in an attack on a secret German prison in the basement of a Bavarian manor to rescue two British officers, Captain Price and Major Ingram. He then learns from Price that Ingram had already been moved to a more secure POW camp for interrogation. Thus, the seventh mission has Martin, accompanied by Price, infiltrating the camp and rescuing Ingram in under ten minutes before the arrival of German reinforcements.

In July 2015, CFO of EA Blake Jorgensen announced a new Battlefield title would be released in 2016.[44][45][46] This was followed up by Dan Vaderlind, EA DICE Development Director, announcing that since Star Wars Battlefront has been released, he will now be focused on the upcoming Battlefield title.[47] On May 6, 2016, Battlefield 1 was officially announced, with an official reveal trailer on YouTube, and was released on October 21, 2016.[48][49]
Call of Duty: Zombies is a six-part comic book series published by Dark Horse Comics. The series ties in with the Zombies game mode of the Black Ops subseries developed by Treyarch. The series is co-written by Justin Jordan, Treyarch's Jason Blundell and Craig Houston. The series is illustrated by artist Jonathan Wayshak and colorist Dan Jackson. The cover arts are handled by artist Simon Bisley. The series was announced by Treyarch on July 2016, with the first issue slated for release in October. After a slight delay, the first issue was released on October 26, 2016. The five other issues were released in the months of 2017: issue #2 released on January 11, 2017; issue #3 released on March 1, 2017; issue #4 released on April 19, 2017; issue #5 released on June 21, 2017; and issue #6 released on August 23, 2017. A paperback edition containing all six issues was released on November 15, 2017.[49]

Call of Duty: Roman Wars was a canceled third and first-person video game in the Call of Duty franchise. The game was set in ancient Rome, and allowed players to take control of famous historical figure Julius Caesar, along with "low grunts", and officers of the Tenth Legion. It was eventually canceled, as Activision had uncertainties about branding it as a Call of Duty title.[47]
