Black Ops features the voices of Sam Worthington as Alex Mason,[58] Ed Harris as Jason Hudson,[59] Gary Oldman reprises his role as Viktor Reznov from World at War and also voices Dr. Clarke,[58] James C. Burns voices and provides performance capture for Frank Woods[60] and Ice Cube voices Joseph Bowman, who is also the multiplayer announcer for the SOG faction.[61][62] Gene Farber voices Grigori Weaver, Emmanuelle Chriqui plays a live-action character called Numbers,[63][64] Eamon Hunt voices Nikita Dragovich, Andrew Divoff voices Lev Kravchenko and Robert Picardo voices Secretary Robert McNamara. Dimitri Diatchenko, an American born actor and musician voices the Spetsnaz faction and several other characters due to his strong Russian accent.
Reviewers also noted that the PC version of the game was buggy and had "a number of frustrating problems", including a lag in multiplayer modes which for some players rendered the game almost "unplayable".[127][128][129] Players have also reported serious bugs with the PlayStation 3 version, including compatibility issues with 3D televisions.[130] PC World magazine noted that user reviews of the game were much less positive than those of critics.[131] As of November 12, 2010, three days after the release, PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 versions of the game held average user ratings of 3.1, 3.1, and 1.8 stars on Amazon.com, respectively (on a 1 to 5 scale),[132] with many PC users complaining about lag, stuttering and bugs.
Black Ops 4 has arrived and has everyone buzzing about Blackout, its new battle royale mode, which is one of the best in the (admittedly rather small) genre, if not the best now depending on who you ask. If this was just a standard Call of Duty release year I don’t think Battlefield V would be in quite so much trouble, but the fact that Black Ops is a hit, it just seems like BFV has a long, uphill climb ahead of it.
Maxis continues his work on other experiments, attempting to use his daughter's dog, Fluffy, as a test subject for his own teleportation device. However, the experiment fails, and Fluffy is transformed into an undead Hellhound. Richtofen takes the opportunity and traps Maxis and his daughter Samantha inside the teleporter with Fluffy, believing that they would die. Richtofen escapes with his three captured soldiers, and arrives at the Rising Sun research facility in Japan, where Element 115 was first discovered. After gathering a sample of 115 at the site, and recovering a weapon known as the Wunderwaffe DG-2, they return to the Der Riese factory in Germany. In an attempt to escape the zombie horde, the group accidentally overloads a teleporter with the DG-2, sending them forward in time. They arrive at an abandoned Nazi theater in the 1960s, where Richtofen discovers several recordings left behind by Dr. Maxis. Samantha, having survived and managing to control the zombies, continues raising the undead in order to hunt down Richtofen.
The United States ushered in a new era of space-based warfare with the launch of the O.D.I.N. (Orbital Defense Initiative) space station. The ODIN station was armed with a battery of sophisticated kinetic projectile launchers. The ODIN’s weapon systems were designed to drop tungsten rods from orbit with pin-point precision. One rod hit was equivalent to the detonation of a small tactical nuclear warhead.
Development for the game began in 2009. It runs an enhanced version of the IW 3.0 engine used in Treyarch's past title, World at War.[8] The improvements made allowed for bigger campaign levels to be made as well as enhanced lighting. Treyarch focused specifically on Black Ops during development; they were developing two games at once while making World at War. Different teams within the company focused on a certain game mode. Music was composed by Sean Murray, with music by The Rolling Stones, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Eminem and Avenged Sevenfold appearing in the game. Marketing of the game began in April 2010. Multiple trailers promoting the game and its modes were released from May until October.
Players can equip up to four found attachments on their weapons, find flares, trophy systems, special ammo, and even a "Hypno-Knife" that can brainwash enemy creatures, transforming them into savage allies for a limited time. Extinction’s new Combat Spend system also offers access to a wide range of offensive, defensive, and support equipment bonuses that can turn the tide of a desperate battle.
I don't have a lot of play-time in SP but I can tell you I will be playing more of it. As I mentioned, a great deal of the cosmetics and melee weapons in this game are unlocked by completing challenges and SP contains a few that I want. I'm currently working on getting Solveig's Knife from the Nordlys mission to acquire it and I'm excited to add it to my MP loadout. Perhaps other players can speak more to SP than I can, but from the Nordlys mission alone, if the other missions are similar, color me interested!
Edit: Apparently people misinterpret the way I mentioned the patches being slow. I admit that I should've worded it a bit clearer to avoid this confusion but I'll try to make sense of it now. I'm fine with content and balance changes coming biweekly or even monthly, it's the fact that they group all the fixes into these patches as well that is a terrible decision in my opinion. A much better system would be to split fixes from these larger patches entirely, and make these fixes come at a greater pace. The amount of bugs and blatant oversights that could be fixed in a short amount of time are numerous in this game and it would do the game an immense amount of good to fix these issues sooner (I'm talking about stuff like barely getting any currency at 50 or changing assignments whilst not having to quit etc.).
Call of Duty: WWII is the fourteenth game in the series and was developed by Sledgehammer Games.[6] It was released worldwide on November 3, 2017, for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.[7] The game is set in the European theatre, and is centered around a squad in the 1st Infantry Division, following their battles on the Western Front, and set mainly in the historical events of Operation Overlord.
The first mission of the British campaign has Sergeant Jack Evans and a unit from 2nd Ox and Bucks of the 6th Airborne Division take part in Operation Tonga. Just after midnight on June 6, 1944, the unit is dropped in Horsa gliders alongside the Caen Canal near Pegasus Bridge, Bénouville. Led by Captain Price, Evans and his troops clear the bridge of German soldiers. In the second mission, just past noon on the same day, the unit manages to hold out against an attempt by a German battalion, supported by tanks, to retake the bridge. Eventually, reinforcements from the 7th Parachute Battalion arrive and the Germans retreat.
Let's say you die two minutes into a match. You then have to exit back to the menu, then go into the loading area, then drop back into the map. You might spend just as much time loading through to the next match as you do playing it, especially if you drop into busy areas. If you manage to stay alive by avoiding combat, or just stay alive until the end of the match, you'll devote 20 to 25 minutes of your time, and chances are you'll still lose in the end.
The famous battles of World War 2 are known by gamers and historians alike. Many of World War 2's courageous assaults, dangerous advances, and tactical plots have been explored by games before. Battlefield V returns to that era with a fresh perspective and Battlefield polish. Assemble your company of customized soldiers, weapons, and vehicles, and fight your way through these historic moments in a never-before-seen portrayal of World War 2.
In January 2011, to a player complaining about the remaining connection problems for the game on PlayStation 3, an Activision customer service representative threatened that they could shut down the servers for the game for the PlayStation Network at any time.[133][134][135] After some days and following some game media heat,[136] Dan Amrich, Activision Social Media Manager, declared that even if they could kill the servers, they did not plan currently to do it.[137] The Daily Telegraph praised Black Ops as a superb experience of gameplay, "the meaty kick of the guns, the blistering pace of the action and the sterling soundtrack of explosions, gunshots and whistling bullets all serve to quicken the player's pulse and tighten their grip on the controller",[120] and mentioned, it is beyond the overwhelming, chaotic action in the game's major gun battles, offers among other things, a stealthy infiltration of a substation in the snow-capped steppes, in which the slow down in action is compensated for by nail-shredding tension and creepy atmosphere.[120]

The game received generally positive reviews from critics. Within 24 hours of going on sale, the game had sold more than 5.6 million copies, 4.2 million in the U.S. and 1.4 million in the UK, breaking the record set by its predecessor Modern Warfare 2 by some 2.3 million copies.[9][10] After six weeks on release, Activision reported that Black Ops had exceeded $1 billion in sales.[11] On August 3, 2011, Activision confirmed that the game had sold over 25 million copies worldwide, making it one of the best-selling games of all time in the US, UK and Europe.[12][13][14] A sequel, Call of Duty: Black Ops II, was released on November 13, 2012.[15][16] Call of Duty: Black Ops III was released on November 6, 2015 as the sequel to Black Ops II. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 was released worldwide on October 12, 2018, as a sequel to Black Ops III.[17]

* Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Points (CP) will be available to use in Black Ops 4 soon. Keep an eye on the Message of the Day for updates on when they will be available for use in Black Ops 4. CP may also be used to obtain in-game content in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, Call of Duty: Black Ops III and Call of Duty: WWII. Each game sold separately.

In July 2015, CFO of EA Blake Jorgensen announced a new Battlefield title would be released in 2016.[44][45][46] This was followed up by Dan Vaderlind, EA DICE Development Director, announcing that since Star Wars Battlefront has been released, he will now be focused on the upcoming Battlefield title.[47] On May 6, 2016, Battlefield 1 was officially announced, with an official reveal trailer on YouTube, and was released on October 21, 2016.[48][49]
Excellent game! Battlefield returns to it's foundation of intense, unique and creative game play. The single player game play is incredible, however it is too short, I'm assuming they'll be releasing more levels in updates. The multiplayer is fairly balanced and seems to be that a battle can change at a moments notice, as there doesn't seem to be one dominating vehicle/weapon over others. Def. recommend this game

Well I have nothing else to offer and I too follow forums and have many friends who play and enjoy the game for all of its features. As an avid gamer, I would also disagree with any legalities involving a single aspect of a game as online experience may change at any time. The publishers have the right to shut down the servers for their game at any time as well which based on the number of reported posts from users may be a viable solution over the free PSN
Weapon Progression. It's small and this is a detractor for me. Where games like BF3 and BF4 had a wide variety of grips, sights, barrels, attachments etc that affected the overall potency of a weapon, in BFV, you can change the scope on a gun then the rest is in the progression system which isn't mix and match. Some follow very linear build patterns where if you choose one progression for a gun, you have to take the next one in the chain. Granted, this helps make it so certain weapon progression combinations don't make you God, but it detracts from what I really liked about BF3 and BF4 weapon customizations. Can I live with this system? Yeah. Do I want a little more variety? Absolutely.

I've been a Battlefield veteran for a little under 10 years now, and Battlefield V is by far my favorite title in the series so far. II've been a Battlefield veteran for a little under 10 years now, and Battlefield V is by far my favorite title in the series so far. I canceled my pre-order after the beta, but I decided to give it another shot as I love the series. DICE really took the constructive criticisms to heart. There are NO microtransactions in the game at launch, and when they arrive, they will be cosmetic only and no random boxes. All future content is free. The gunplay is comparable to BF3, which many people consider to have the best gunplay in the entire series. The character customization, while lacking an actual character creator, is in-depth enough for people who are into it yet not so in-depth that those who don't enjoy that aspect of a game won't find it tedious and distracting. The gameplay itself is fast paced and has a sense of urgency that I feel was missing from Battlefield 1. The weapon progression is fantastic, and the idea to have the starter weapons full upgraded on start prevents new players from being run over by veteran players (something that occurred in Battlefront 2). I was skeptical when I played the beta, like I'm sure many of you were, but rest assured, the final product is by far worth the money and a fantastic addition to the series. They took the better parts of the previous games, specifically regarding players' feedback, and created, in my personal opinion, one of the best FPS games in that last decade. If you are a fan of previous Battlefields and took a break due to the change BF1 saw in the series, I implore you to give Battlefield V a chance.… Expand
The sixth mission occurs much later, on January 17, 1945, with Voronin now a full Sergeant, serving with the 150th Rifle Division of the 3rd Shock Army. The unit secures a makeshift German tank repair facility in Warsaw in the midst of the Vistula–Oder Offensive. The seventh mission takes place shortly after, with the unit moving to regroup with the 4th Guards Tank Army. Due to shortages in experienced soldiers, the eighth mission, on January 26, requires Voronin to command a T-34-85 tank for the 2nd Guards Tank Army. In a full scale offense, the Soviets capture a town near the Oder River. The ninth mission is also fought in the tank, with Voronin eliminating all surviving German units in the town.

MUTINY, CARIBBEAN: secretive cove on a remote Caribbean island, harbors an eerie moored pirate ship hideout. The only thing really separating the game from rail shooters like Time Crisis is the freedom to swivel your empty, purposeless virtual head(...)This is Call of Duty’s credo: love it or hate it, Activision’s money-maker shows no signs of taking risks, innovating or changing even slightly

For the past 6 seasons in competitive Call of Duty, Full Sail University has hosted a prize giveaway, giving $2,500 to the top team each season.[61] The other ladders give out credits and medals registered on players' profiles. Tournaments hosted on the Call of Duty: Ghosts's Arena give cost from 15 to 30 credits, thus averaging at a cost of about $18.75 per tournament. If the player competes with a team, the prize money is divided and an equal cut is given to each player. Other tournaments with substantial prizes are hosted in specific cities and countries for LAN teams.
