Maps, they better than Call of Duty World War 2 but that’s a low bar. My main issue with the maps is there is a heavy reliance on the classic maps of Call of Duty black ops 1&2. There good maps but they could also try to make better maps or make there own classics. Even at the time of this review they released two new free maps Firing Range nighttime and Nuketown Russian edition. Of course the new maps are borders between okay and bad so the reliance of classic maps is a necessary evil of sorts. Still relying on past games can only get you so far.

Call of Duty: Combined Forces was a proposed concept draft originally intended to be a sequel to Call of Duty: Finest Hour. Spotting. I don't know the full mechanics how this works, but I've seen very few markers above enemy's heads for their location. Muzzle flare, bullets, map markers and direct line of sight have been my spotting methods. People may be able to have better takes on the spotting systems (like Recon players) than I will, but overall I don't feel like the enemy has constant knowledge of where I am. Someone please comment how spotting works and I'll edit it into this section here with your name referenced.

However, in a recent interview with GamerHubTV, Treyarch co-head Dan Bunting suggested that Black ops 4 mods were still a possibility. “Many of our developers we hired directly from the mod community because they built a mod – they got noticed. In Black Ops 3 we released mod tools for the first time in the franchise in many, many years. We are big believers and supporters in the mod community, but we’re not quite ready to start talking about that yet.” It’s not much to go on, but it sounds like the decision is not yet final.
Blackout currently has 20 character skins available to play as, including the cast from Zombies and the Black Ops 4 specialists but to get access to their special abilities you’ll need to find them as rare items across the map. As the focus of the game is on simulation of the actual battlefield, the gameplay differed from many single-player shooters of the time. Hudson and Weaver are revealed to be Mason's interrogators. Dragovich has communist sleeper cells placed all over the United States which, when ordered by the numbers broadcast, will release the Nova 6 gas. As a result, the U.S. is preparing a pre-emptive nuclear strike on the Soviet Union, which would result in the inevitable Mutual Assured Destruction of World War III. Hudson needed Steiner to abort the gas launch, but after his death, only Mason has any knowledge of the numbers station. Hudson reveals that Dragovich brainwashed Mason to understand the numbers broadcasts and assassinate Kennedy, effectively making him a Soviet sleeper agent. The real Reznov never escaped, but died during the Vorkuta breakout attempt, and the Soviet defector in Hue was actually killed before Mason reached him. Mason’s visions of Reznov are a result of a dissociative disorder caused by the traumatic brainwashing program. Prior to the Vorkuta uprising, Reznov reprogrammed Mason to assassinate Dragovich, Kravchenko, and Steiner instead. Mason finally remembers the location of the broadcast station: a Russian cargo ship called Rusalka off the coast of Cuba. An assault on the Rusalka begins, with Mason and Hudson infiltrating the underwater submarine base protecting the ship. Hudson calls in the United States Navy to destroy the Rusalka. Mason and Hudson finally confront Dragovich in the lower levels of the facility, and Mason strangles and drowns him to death before escaping with Hudson. They regroup with Weaver, who declares victory.
Next, the class balance. This ones gonna be controversial so bear with me. In its current state much of the class balance in Battlefield V is broken. I know some of it is going to be fixed but there are some issues that will remain. We all know that the medic class is shit in its current state. It manages to fall short in pretty much every category that isn’t hip fire. While this class is getting a buff I still feel that a rifle of some sort, such as the G43 or at least the M1 carbine would greatly benefit the class. My biggest concern for this game’s class balance is the assault class which, in its current state, can dominate both close range, medium range, and long range engagements. The TTK for assault weapons seem just a tad quick, but that could very well just be me.

Weapon Progression. It's small and this is a detractor for me. Where games like BF3 and BF4 had a wide variety of grips, sights, barrels, attachments etc that affected the overall potency of a weapon, in BFV, you can change the scope on a gun then the rest is in the progression system which isn't mix and match. Some follow very linear build patterns where if you choose one progression for a gun, you have to take the next one in the chain. Granted, this helps make it so certain weapon progression combinations don't make you God, but it detracts from what I really liked about BF3 and BF4 weapon customizations. Can I live with this system? Yeah. Do I want a little more variety? Absolutely.

Meanwhile, Hudson and Weaver interrogate Clarke in Kowloon City. Clarke reveals the location of a hidden facility in Mount Yamantau before being killed by Dragovich's men. Hudson and Weaver move to destroy the facility and receive a transmission from Steiner requesting to meet at Rebirth Island, as Dragovich has begun killing loose ends. Mason and Reznov head there to assassinate Steiner at the same time, succeeding just as Hudson and Weaver arrive. Mason is adamant that Reznov executed Steiner, but Hudson had witnessed Mason carrying out the act alone.
The American campaign begins with Private Martin, a newly enlisted member of the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, completing basic training at Camp Toccoa in Georgia, United States, on August 10, 1942. Afterwards, the action shifts to June 6, 1944, with Martin forced to undertake a solo mission to establish a landing zone for soldiers participating in Operation Overlord. Under heavy fire, the paratroopers are scattered, leaving Martin in a mixed unit formed from various companies. The mission closes with Martin and his allies seizing a nearby town from German forces. In the second mission, Martin and his unit are sent to drive out the remaining Germans from Sainte-Mère-Église and disable several Flakpanzers (anti-aircraft tanks) as the events of June 6 begin (D-Day). A paratrooper is seen hanging from the town church. The third mission occurs later that morning, with U.S. forces fending off a German counterattack. The fourth mission has Martin, Pvt. Elder and Sgt. Moody driving from Sainte-Mère-Église to Sainte-Marie-du-Mont along highway N13 to deliver an important message, while fending off German assaults. The fifth mission, the Brécourt Manor Assault, occurs on the evening of June 6, with Martin's unit destroying German artillery positions attacking the landing force at Utah Beach. After the mission, Martin learns that his unit has been assigned to several secret missions. The first occurs in the sixth mission, with Martin participating in an attack on a secret German prison in the basement of a Bavarian manor to rescue two British officers, Captain Price and Major Ingram. This is what people really want to know about so here's my take... It feels like how BF1 should have been at launch if it were a WW2 game. That's not to say there aren't kinks, but the point is DICE seems to have taken a lot from what they've learned from BF1 and applied it immediately at launch to BFV.
