The fourth map pack, "Rezurrection" was released on August 23, 2011 for the Xbox 360 and September 22, 2011 on PlayStation 3 and PC. The Rezurrection Map Pack is made up of 5 Zombies mode only maps. It includes the first 4 maps from Call of Duty: World at War ("Shi No Numa"/"Swamp", "Nacht Der Untoten"/"Night", "Verruckt"/"Asylum", "Der Riese"/"Factory") and a new map called "Moon". "Moon" allows players to fight zombies in zero gravity with both the player and the zombies under zero gravity influence.[87]

You can even bring in Riley, from the single-player campaign, as your guard dog to warn you and attack when enemies are near. Scorestreaks are back, and can now be customized – to alter performance attributes or increase the power of a particular streak. The new Perks System has a value from 1 to 5, and you have 8 points to allocate. You could also choose to get rid of your secondary weapon and get up to 11 perks.

With the Vril generator and the meteorite piece, Richtofen now believes he can control the zombies, and returns to Griffin Station. Here, they attempt to activate the MPD, a machine that controls the Aether energy, which opens to reveal Samantha inside; instead of dying by Richtofen's trap, Samantha was teleported to the moon while Maxis was sent somewhere else. Samantha accidentally triggered the MPD and was trapped within the device, but this also allowed her to enter the Aether realm. Maxis, who was retrieved by Group 935 scientists, apologized to his daughter and committed suicide in front of her, prompting her to assume control of the zombies and seek vengeance on Richtofen. Richtofen fuses the golden rod and the meteorite piece, and using it to switch souls with Samantha, takes over as the new zombie controller. This causes his former allies to feel betrayed, and they ally themselves with Samantha (who now resides in Richtofen's body). Maxis is revealed to have become a sentient artificial intelligence living within the systems of Griffin Station, and he guides his daughter and the three soldiers to launch three missiles at the Earth. This severs Richtofen's link with the Aether, but the launch results in the catastrophic destruction of the Earth, while still leaving Richtofen in control of the undead.

His presence, and Dragovich's taunt before his death, suggest that Mason may have carried out his initial programming. A hidden message that can be accessed in the game's main menu reveals that Woods survived the confrontation with Kravchenko and is currently incarcerated in the Hanoi Hilton.

Call of Duty is a first-person shooter video game developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision. The game simulates infantry and combined arms warfare of World War II using a modified version of the id Tech 3 engine. Much of its theme and gameplay is similar to the Medal of Honor series; however, Call of Duty showcases multiple viewpoints staged in the British, American, and Soviet theaters of World War II.
As the focus of the game is on simulation of the actual battlefield, the gameplay differed from many single-player shooters of the time. The player moves in conjunction with allied soldiers rather than alone; allied soldiers will assist the player in defeating enemy soldiers and advancing; however, the player is given charge of completing certain objectives. The game places heavy emphasis on usage of cover, suppressive fire, and grenades. AI-controlled soldiers will take cover behind walls, barricades, and other obstacles when available.

This game surprised me as I was not expecting the time in history that this pertains to.....the decade of the '60's, a very tumultuous decade at that. Mostly to do with the Cold War between USSR and USA......and even touching on the end of WWII.....a nice touch. So the pace of the game, in conjunction with the weapons of that time, I found to my liking. It didn't have the faster pace of recent COD's and the firepower wasn't nearly as overwhelming. One has a bit more time for thinking and contemplating different strategies. For me that was a definite plus. At any rate, a nice playing experience. I'm tempted to now try Black Ops II.

Rely on your squad as never before: The dozens of Allied soldiers surrounding you are fully aware of the changing situations around them, and will let you know using an all-new, context-sensitive battle chatter system. They will draw enemy fire, lay down cover for you, use foxholes and moving tanks for cover, and warn you of incoming enemy troops and hostile fire.
I don't have a lot of play-time in SP but I can tell you I will be playing more of it. As I mentioned, a great deal of the cosmetics and melee weapons in this game are unlocked by completing challenges and SP contains a few that I want. I'm currently working on getting Solveig's Knife from the Nordlys mission to acquire it and I'm excited to add it to my MP loadout. Perhaps other players can speak more to SP than I can, but from the Nordlys mission alone, if the other missions are similar, color me interested!
Black Market, I will like to preface and say it’s better than the supply drops system of the call of duties of before (looking at you especially Black Ops 3) but the system still sucks. Everything is either overpriced or a long grind to live up this is nothing like the fortnite system they tired to copy it’s worse. They clearly incentivise to purchase more call of duty points and while that was in all honest expected at least put all the good stuff up front ready to purchase not I have to grind to reach tier 50 or something or I can spend 100 dollars to unlock everything I want. Guns aren’t subject to this yet. But as the history of Call of Duty tells us they will absolutely do it. They are already selling pre-order gun variants as dlc Terrible, Greedy, and inefficient.
In 2006, Treyarch released Call of Duty 3, their first Call of Duty game of the main series. In 2010, Sledgehammer Games announced they were working on a main series title for the franchise. This game was postponed in order to help Infinity Ward produce Modern Warfare 3. In 2014, it was confirmed that Sledgehammer Games would produce the 2014 title, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, and the studios would begin a three-year rotation.[38][39] Advanced Warfare was followed by Treyarch's Call of Duty: Black Ops III in 2015, Infinity Ward's Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare in 2016, Sledgehammer Games's Call of Duty: WWII in 2017 and was followed by Treyarch's Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 in 2018.
